Details:
On or about Thursday, May 26th, 2022, around 5:23 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Eastex Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Eastex Freeway. Paramedics pronounced one person dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the incident is not far from the exchange with Aldine Bender.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
