Details:
On or about Monday, April 25th, 2022, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 1400 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Representatives from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle after a previous single-vehicle car accident. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Austin.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accidnet.
