Details:
On or about Saturday, December 11th, 2021, around 3:15 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between two passenger vehicles claimed the life of one individual. Deputies from the HCSO said the accident was reported along Ella Boulevard near West Gulf Bank in Harris County, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck two passenger vehicles as he was riding his bike alongside or an attempt to cross Ella Boulevard. Paramedics pronounced the cyclist dead a short time after the accident. Both vehicles fled the scene of the accident.
Authorities are still working to track down the offending drivers.
Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the HPD are investigating.
