Details:
On or about September 4th, 2021, around 2:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 1774 near the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 149 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on FM 1774. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
Authorities later determined the pedestrian had a blood-alcohol concentration of .237 at the time of the accident.
State and local agencies assisted after the collision.
