On or about Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, around 1:20 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left a 51-year-old man dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of FM 1960 and Ella Boulevard in Houston, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople from the area said an as-of-yet unidentified 51-year-old man was killed when he was allegedly hit by a passing motorist while he was walking near or attempting to cross the intersection of FM 1960 and Ella Boulevard. Officials did not specify if the victim died at the scene, or if they were rushed to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of FM 1960 and Ella Boulevard is on the far north side of Houston.
Officials are still examining the cause of the incident.
