Details:
On or about Sunday, February 6th, 2022, around 7:00 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 620 in Lakeway, Texas.
Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when they were allegedly struck by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Farm-to-Market 620. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 22 miles northwest of downtown Austin.
Police are still investigating the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
