On or about Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, around 8:30 at night, a serious accident with a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Traivs County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along FM 812 near Highway 183 in Austin, Texas.
Local law enforcement officials said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in crashed under unspecified circumstances along FM 812. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Highway 183 and FM 812 is on the southeast side of Austin.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
