Details:
On or about Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead and sent three others to the hospital. Officers from the DPD said the accident was reported in the 8100 block of Garland Road near the White Rock Spillway in Dallas, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Dallas Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and three others were injured when the passenger vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and struck a pole a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead a short time after the accident, while three other occupants were taken to the hospital with various injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 7 miles northeast of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating.
