On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 2:45 in the morning, a serious car accident left at least one individual dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Gulf Freeway near the exchange with South Lockwood Drive in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in crashed under unspecified conditions along the Gulf Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced at least one individual ead from their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of the Gulf Freeway and South Lockwood Drive is on the southeast side of Houston.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
