On or about Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, around 5:24 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Gulf Freeway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of the Gulf Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries after they responded to the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Telephone Road.
Police are still looking into the accident.
