On or about Saturday, April 30th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, a serious two-vehicle car accident left at least one person dead. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along Hawkins Parkway in Longview, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when two vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Hawkins Parkway. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead of their injuries following the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they died at the scene, or if they were rushed to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with Eastman Road.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
