Details:
On or about Monday, February 21st, 2022, around 5:30 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 16 near the intersection with Palo Alto Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Officials from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Highway 16 and crashed down an embankment. Paramedics pronounced one person in the car dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Highway 16 and Palo Alto Road is on the south side of San Antonio.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
