On or about Thursday, February 17th, 2022, around 5:00 in the morning, a serious multi-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Highway 183 near County Line Road in Irving, Texas.
Officers from the Irving Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when several vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along Highway 183. Paramedics pronounced one person dead of their injuries after the collision, but authorities did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident, nor did they indicate how many vehicles were ensnared in the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 11 miles west of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating the accident.
