On or about Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, in the early morning hours, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 249 in Pinehurst, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of Highway 249 and crashed into a barrier. Paramedics pronounced the woman from the car dead of the injuries she sustained when she was ejected from the vehicle in the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 38 miles north of downtown Houston.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
