Details:
On or about Monday, November 29th, 2021, around 3:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Authorities from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 249 near West Road in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the HPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a Jeep as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Highway 249. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their initial report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Highway 249 and West Road is on the northwest side of Houston.
Police are still investigating.
