On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 8:44 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 6 and Briar Forest Drive in Houston, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on Highway 6. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the west side of Houston.
