Details:
On or about Sunday, March 20th, 2022, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 6 just outside Marlin in Falls County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing vehicle as they were walking near or made an attempt to cross Highway 6. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Marlin, which is about 104 miles northeast of downtown Austin.
