Details:
On or about Thursday, February 24th, 2022, around 8:00 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one man dead. Officials from the MCSO said the accident was reported along Highway 99 near the intersection with Loop 1604 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when he was allegedly hit by a passing motorist as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Highway 99. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries after the incident. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 41 miles north of Houston.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
