Details:
On or about Thursday, June 16th, 2022, around 9:40 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Officers from the EPPD said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in El Paso, Texas.
Officers from the El Paso Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle while they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Interstate 10. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from mile marker 28.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
