Details:
On or about Thursday, April 28th, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Local law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Austin, Texas.
Investigators from the Austin Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Interstate 35. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Austin.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
