Details:
On or about Saturday, March 5th, 2022, around 4:20 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Representatives from the DPS said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 near the exit for Buc’ees Boulevard in Denton, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were hit by several vehicles as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of I-35. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 40 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating the incident.
