Details:
On or about Saturday, November 20th, 2021, around 12:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in the 12400 block in Austin, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified pedestrian was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing vehicle as they were walking along or made an attempt to cross northbound I-35. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 35 and Parmer Lane is on the north side of Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
