On or about Thursday, March 24th, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a fiery single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Representatives from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 near Rittiman Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the pickup truck they were driving allegedly veered off the side of the roadway and crashed down an embankment. After the initial accident, the truck burst into flames. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 35 and Rittiman Road is on the northeast side of San Antonio.
Police are still trying to determine what happened in the accident.
