Details:
On or about Monday, June 27th, 2022, around 11:45 at night an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Authorities from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Interstate 35 service road near the intersection with Eiedner Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Officials from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking near or made an attempt to cross the lanes of the I-35 service road. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northeast side of San Antonio.
Police are still investigating the accident.
