Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, around 10:54 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Officers from the DPD said the accident was reported along Interstate 35E near the exchange with Royal Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
Investigators from the Dallas Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly struck by a Chevrolet Impala as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on I-35E. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of her injuries when they arrived at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 6 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating.
