Details:
On or about Saturday, April 9th, 2022, around 1:45 in the morning, a serious car accident with a pedestrian left one individual dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 45 near the exchange with Wilson Road in Conroe, Texas.
Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they may have been hit by a vehicle as they were walking near or tried to cross the lanes of Interstate 45. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 41 miles north of downtown Houston.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
