On or about Thursday, January 5th, 2022, around 6:09 in the evening, an accident between two passenger vehicles left one individual dead. Authorities from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported on the Interstate 45 connector near the intersection with Cullen Boulevard in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when two vehicles collided under unspecified circumstances at or near the exchange of I-45 and Cullen Boulevard. Emergency responders pronounced one of the occupants dead of their injuries when they arrived at the scene of the accident. Police did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the collision. Authorities did not indicate if the other driver was injured.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 45 and Cullen Boulevard is on the southeast side of Houston.
