Details:
On or about Thursday, March 31st, 2022, around 2:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one woman dead. Representatives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the Pierce Elevated on Interstate 45 in Houston, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of I-45 and crashed into a concrete barrier a short distance off the roadway. Paramedics pronounced the woman dead of her injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from downtown Houston.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
