Details:
On or about Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, around 7:55 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 610 North in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly veered off the side of I-610 and slammed into a pole. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. No other vehicles were mentioned in the police statement.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Houston.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
