On or about Wednesday, April 20th, 2022, around 2:30 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Kildare Avenue and Pecan Valley Drive in San Antonio, Texas.
Representatives from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the road and crashed sideways into a pole a short distance off the pavement near Kildare Avenue and Pecan Valley Drive. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the car dead of their injuries.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Kildare Avenue and Pecan Valley Drive is on the southeast side of San Antonio.
Officials are still trying to determine all the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
