On or about Saturday, April 22nd, 2022, around 3:30 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Loop 12 Walton Walker in Dallas, Texas.
Officers from the Dallas Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and crashed into a barrier a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from I-35, on the northwest side of Dallas.
Officials are still examining all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
