Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, around 5:00 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Loop 820 near the exchange with Wilbarger Street in Fort Worth, Texas.
Officers from the FWPD said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and rolled. Witnesses reported the vehicle may have been driving erratically in the moments before the accident. Paramedics pronounced one person in the vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Loop 820 and Wilbarger Street is on the southeast side of Fort Worth.
Police are still working to determine all the factors that may have played a role in the accident.
