On or about Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, around 8:44 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and several vehicles left a woman dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the North Freeway near the exchange with the Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when she was allegedly struck by several vehicles as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Interstate 45. Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Fallbrook.
Police are still trying to determine all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
