Details:
On or about Monday, April 19th, 2022, around 11:30 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the North Freeway near the exchange with Parker Road in Houston, Texas.
Authorities from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of North Freeway. Paramedics pronounced the woman dead of her injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of North Freeway and Parker Road is on the north side of Houston.
Police are still working to pin down the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
