Details:
On or about Saturday, February 5th, 2022, around 2:55 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Authorities from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 400 block of North Wilcrest Drive in Houston, Texas.
Law enforcement personnel said one as-of-yet unidentified 25-year-old man was killed when the Ford Mustang he was driving allegedly drove off the side of North Wilcrest Drive and struck a tree a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the Mustang dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the west side of Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
