Details:
On or about Saturday, March 5th, 2022, around 2:50 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a police patrol car left one person dead. Authorities from the MPD said the accident was reported along Loop 250 in Midland, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly slammed into the back of a police patrol vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Midland.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
