On or about Monday, May 16th, 2022, around 11:30 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Saunders Street in Laredo, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Saunders St. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in central Laredo.
