Details:
On or about Friday, April 1st, 2022, around 1:50 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the South Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified 31-year-old man was killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a pole a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of Houston.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
