Details:
On or about Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, around 3:10 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left one person dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along West Rundberg Lane at North Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic at West Rundberg Lane and North Lamar Boulevard. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of at West Rundberg Lane and North Lamar Boulevard is on the north side of Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
