Details:
On or about Monday, May 30th, 2022, around 10:20 at night, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a cyclist left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were riding their bike along Westheimer Road. Emergency responders rushed the cyclist to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the incident is at the intersection with Greenridge Drive.
Authorities are still working to pin down what happened in the accident.
