Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, a major single-vehicle car accident claimed the life of one individual. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along Wiseman Boulevard near the intersection with Westover Hills Boulevard in San Antonio, Texas.
Authorities from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the Chevrolet Corvette they were driving allegedly veered off the side of the roadway where it struck both a utility pole and a tree a short distance off the side of the pavement. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the vehicle dead from the injuries they sustained when they were ejected from the vehicle in the crash.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Wiseman Boulevard and Westover Hills Boulevard is on the west side of San Antonio.
Police are still trying to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
