Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Wilson Road near South Fork Drive in Harlingen, Texas.
Texas DPS Troopers said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing motorist as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Wilson Road. Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Wilson Road and South Fork Drive is on the northwest side of Harlingen.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
