Details:
On or about Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a pedestrian and a passenger vehicle left one person dead. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Wilson Road in Primera, Texas.
Deputies from the Cameron County Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Wilson Road. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Primera is a short distance north of the border with Mexico in far south Texas.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
