On or about Friday, April 15th, 2022, around 1:46 in the morning, a major accident between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along West Highway 290 in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 290. Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the west side of Travis County.
Police are still examining the cause of the accident.
