On or about Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, around 1:40 in the afternoon, an accident between a motorcycle and a cement truck claimed the life of one person. Officers from the SFPD said the accident was reported in the 100 block of East Grand Avenue in San Francisco, California.

Troopers from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed their motorcycle allegedly collided with a parked cement truck on East Grand Avenue in the 100 block. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. No other injuries were mentioned by police in their preliminary report on the crash.

According to Google Maps, the 100 block of East Grand Avenue is a short distance south of downtown San Francisco.

Police are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
