On or about Thursday, October 28th, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a cement truck and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 59-year-old man. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 6700 block of Navigation Boulevard in Houston, Texas.
Authorities said an as-of-yet unidentified 59-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a cement truck as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Navigation Boulevard at the intersection with Wayside Drive. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Navigation Boulevard and Wayside Drive is a short distance southeast of downtown Houston.
