Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one woman dead and sent a child to the hospital. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 595 in Broward County, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed and a 4-year-old child were injured when the disabled vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by another vehicle, causing a chain-reaction accident with a tractor-trailer. Paramedics pronounced one woman dead of her injuries at the scene, while the child was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Interstate 95.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
