On or about Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a panel van and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened somewhere in the 1200 block of North Loop 288 in Denton, Texas.
Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their motorcycle and a panel van collided under unknown conditions. Officials did not speculate as to how the accident may have happened in their preliminary statement.
The 1200 block of North Loop 288 is situated on the east side of Denton, which is about 40 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating the accident.
