On or about Monday, December 27th, 2021, around 3:48 in the afternoon, an accident between a tow truck, a concrete dump truck, and six other vehicles left one person dead and sent another individual to the hospital. Representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of State Road 52 and Canyon Boulevard in Pasco County, Florida.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified 24-year-old was killed and another person was injured when a concrete dump truck allegedly slammed into a tow truck and six other vehicles at the intersection of Canyon Boulevard and State Road 52. One person was pronounced dead after the collision, while another was rushed to the hospital by paramedics with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Pasco County is situated on the north side of Tampa.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
