Details:
On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and alleged drunk driver left one individual dead. Authorities from the DPD said the accident was reported along West Northwest Highway near Technology Boulevard in Dallas, Texas.
Authorities from the Dallas Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of West Northwest Highway. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead a short time after the accident.
Officials have since charged the driver of the vehicle with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Dallas.
